Boston

Why I decided to start this project in the middle of January in the North East I don’t know. The first stop is Boston and of course a lot of that has to do with the fact that Berklee College of Music is here. I’m alone on this leg of the trip but it has been eye opening. Getting ready for what lies ahead and working with all the equipment has been an experience. One of my lights is already broken. Anyway back to Boston!

I have been able to interview Berklee students along with Matt Glaser, artistic director of the American Roots Program. Matt Glaser said something that really stuck with me “Always come back to your instrument.” It is a simple concept but is beautiful in its simplicity.
